Emissions Trading: Union Registry - annual confirmation of account information (06/2018)
Dear Sir or Madam,
In accordance with the requirements of the EU Registry Regulation (EU) 389/2013, Article 25(1), the account details in the Union Registry need to be confirmed regularly at the end of the year by the account holder.
Please check all details of the account and the authorised representatives including all personal information in the Union Registry. If you are the holder of installation or aircraft operator accounts, please check the installation data or the aircraft operator information.
If updates are needed, you can enter them in the Union Registry directly below each "tab". We have provided a form on our website to confirm your account information which can be downloaded from Online Services > Union Registry > Account > C Annual confirmation of account information. Please send us the completed form by 31/12/2018 via the Virtual Post Office (for holders of operator holding accounts and aircraft operator holding accounts) or signed by post (for account holders who do not have a virtual post office).
As a precaution, we would like to point out that failure to comply with Article 25(1) EU Registry Regulation may lead to blocking the account access for all authorised representatives (Article 34(2) of the EU Registry Regulation).
If you have already sent us a confirmation form in 2018, no action is required.
