Dear Sir or Madam,
In our mailing of 24/10/2017 we have already informed you about our online survey about money laundering in emissions trading. Today, we would like to remind you that, if you have not already participated in the survey, you still have the opportunity to participate until Friday the 17/11/2017.
The online survey is part of a German Environmental Agency research project on money laundering in emissions trading and it is being carried out by the DEHSt together with Professor Bussmann and his team from the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, Department of Criminal Law and Criminology.
All Union Registry account holders and authorised representatives will be consulted about their experience and assessments, irrespective of whether they are affected. Participation in the survey is of course voluntary and will take about 10-15 minutes of your time.
The study will be entirely unbiased and may lead to the conclusion that there are only marginal risks or none at all. Even if you are not familiar with the subject, you can still make an important contribution by participating in the online survey. You can help us to better assess the risk of money laundering activities in emissions trading and identify reliable evidence. Thus you can enhance the integrity of this important climate protection instrument.
The survey is of course anonymous. All information and findings will be evaluated in strict confidence and the answers will not identify any individual or account holder.
The online survey will be available from Tuesday, 24/10/2017 for the period of four weeks at the address
https://www.umfrageonline.com/s/mlu
and can be answered until Friday, 17/11/2017.
The results are expected to be published early next year.
We hope to have a lively participation in this survey, and thank you for your trust and support!
