Data Collection Ordinance 2020: Unofficial Translation Available
DEV 2020 became effective on 25/07/2009. The Ordinance provides the legal basis for identifying emissions data of new installations and activities in emissions trading. The DEV 2020 will also affect aircraft operators.
The Ordinance on the collection of data for the inclusion of aviation and additional activities in the Emissions Trading Scheme (Data Collection Ordinance 2020 – DEV 2020) became effective on 25/07/2009. The Ordinance provides the legal basis for identifying emissions data of new installations and activities in emissions trading. The DEV 2020 will also affect aircraft operators.
The Ordinance does not yet constitute the requirements for the allocation of allowances for the trading period 2013 to 2020. It solely intends to determine the EU budget for new installations and activities participating in emissions trading 2013-2020.
As a service to the non-German speaking participants in emissions trading for the aviation sector the ordinance on the collection of data for the inclusion of aviation and additional activities in the Emissions Trading Scheme (DEV 2020) was translated.
