The German Emissions Trading Authority (DEHSt) is the national authority entrusted with the implementation of emissions trading and project-based mechanisms of the Kyoto protocol: Emissions Trading and the project-based Joint Implementation (JI) and Clean Development Mechanism (CDM).

Data Collection Ordinance 2020: Unofficial Translation Available

DEV 2020 became effective on 25/07/2009. The Ordinance provides the legal basis for identifying emissions data of new installations and activities in emissions trading. The DEV 2020 will also affect aircraft operators.
